Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely! Electrolysis is the only method approved by the FDA to permanently remove unwanted hair. As the hair is treated, regrowth is prevented rather than removed temporarily. Only electrolysis provides both hair removal and hair elimination. A hair treat in
its growing stage will be dead and gone FOREVER!

Immediately following treatment, there may be a temporary redness or tenderness, which varies with each individual. The latest technology has made electrolysis more comfortable and effective than ever before. Your electrologist will provide post-treatment instructions and any personal attention you may need. You can be assured of the best care from a skilled hair removal professional.

Electrolysis can treat any area of the body, and skin type, and any hair color. Unlike laser, electrolysis is effective even on red, gray, and white hair.

Unlike other hair removal options, professionally performed electrolysis permanently eliminates unwanted hair, with unsurpassed results. Moreover, it does so for the most extensive variety of skin and hair types.

Other methods may appear less expensive or more convenient, but these seeming advantages fade quickly when considering the need for long-term use and lifetime maintenance.

Electrolysis works on most body areas to give you permanently smooth, sleek, healthy-looking skin. No other solution can claim such universal acceptability and success.

Electrolysis is the only method recognized by the FDA for permanent hair removal.

It is a micro-pulse of electricity that targets the growth structure of the hair root. The hair shaft is released by the process and permanently removed. This is the tried-and-true solution, performed by both electrology professionals and healthcare providers.

Laser provides hair reduction, not permanent hair removal.

Melanin in the hair absorbs energy from the laser, creating heat that damages the hair follicle. Light hair, blond hair, red hair, white hair, gray hair, and dark skin are more challenging for laser treatment.

-Avoid caffeine, sun exposure, and retinol-based facial products.
-Remove makeup.
-If you have a low pain tolerance, apply a topical numbing cream 30–45 minutes before your procedure.
*However, this is not necessary for most clients. The procedure is surprisingly more comfortable than expected and feels like a mosquito bite.
-Take Tylenol if needed.
-Electrolysis works best on freshly exfoliated skin. it is recommended to use an exfoliating face or body scrub prior to your treatment.

-Avoid sun exposure and retinol-based products, which may irritate the skin.
-Cool compresses are okay, but never ice.
-Use a gentle facial cleansing system.
*I recommend applying Finipil, an anti-microbial, antibacterial cream that soothes post-procedure skin.

Cancelation Policy

Your appointment is critical! It is reserved especially for you. We understand that unexpected events happen in everyone’s life; sometimes, schedule adjustments are necessary. Therefore, in fairness to all clients, the following policies apply:

To avoid a cancelation fee, 24-hour advance notice is required when canceling all appointments. This allows someone else to fill your appointment time. A 50% deposit will be required to secure your booking appointment time. **Clients who give less than 24 hours of cancelation notice will be charged 50% of their scheduled service fee. Please understand that clients on my waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services when they forget or cancel their appointment without giving 24 hours' notice. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

No-Shows

All "no-shows" will be charged 100% of their scheduled service and may be restricted in scheduling future appointments.
